Greater Moncton, June 22, 2026 – Travellers now have another option for reaching the Montréal region with the launch of Porter Airlines’ new daily service between the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM) and Montréal Metropolitan Airport (MET).

“We’re pleased to see Porter continue to grow its presence at YQM with the launch of daily service to Montréal Metropolitan Airport,” said Courtney Burns, President and CEO of the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport Authority. “This route enhances access to the Montréal market and creates new opportunities for travellers and businesses in our region.”

“We’re excited to connect Montreal Metropolitan Airport, Canada’s newest airport experience, with Greater Moncton,” said Andrew Pierce, Vice President, network planning and reporting, Porter Airlines. “MET provides a smooth, modern alternative for accessing Montreal, and together with Porter’s signature onboard service, travellers can expect an enjoyable journey from start to finish.”

Montréal Metropolitan Airport is an important part of Porter’s growing network and offers travellers another gateway to one of Canada’s largest markets. The airport provides convenient access to downtown Montréal while supporting connections to destinations across Porter’s growing network.

Friday’s inaugural flight marked another step forward in expanding travel options for the Greater Moncton region. The addition of daily service to MET further strengthens ties between New Brunswick and Québec, creating new opportunities for business, tourism and personal travel.
