YQM Introduces New Non-Stop Service to Montréal with Porter Airlines
Greater Moncton, March 24, 2026 — The Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM) is pleased to announce that Porter Airlines will launch new non-stop service to Montréal Metropolitan Airport (MET) starting in June 2026.
This service strengthens connectivity between New Brunswick and one of Canada’s key urban centres. Beginning June 19, this new daily service will operate seasonally, offering travellers from YQM more choice and flexibility when travelling to Montréal, a high-demand route for both business and leisure.
Passengers travelling from YQM to Montréal Metropolitan Airport (MET) will benefit from a newly designed, modern terminal and closer proximity to downtown Montréal. MET offers a streamlined travel experience, providing New Brunswickers with a more convenient airport experience.
“Passengers travelling through Montreal Metropolitan Airport (MET) will have convenient access to the Greater Montreal area, including easy access to downtown. The modern terminal provides an efficient and welcoming passenger experience that will save travellers substantial time. It raises the bar for travel in Canada,” said Michael Deluce, CEO of Porter Airlines.
“Providing more options to reach Montréal is important for both our business and leisure travellers,” said Courtney Burns, President and CEO of the Greater Moncton International Airport Authority. “This new service with Porter Airlines enhances connectivity and supports the continued growth of our region.”
Porter Airlines also offers service from YQM to Ottawa (YOW) and Toronto City (YTZ), with onward connections across its expanding North American network.
This new service reflects the continued growth of YQM’s partnership with Porter Airlines and a shared commitment to expanding travel options in the region. Flights are now available for booking at flyporter.com.
