Greater Moncton, NB, May 15, 2026 —The Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM) officially welcomed service with Flair Airlines today, marking the beginning of direct flights between YQM and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

The new seasonal service will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through October 23, 2026. Flights depart at 1:00 p.m. local time, providing travellers with more affordable travel options between Greater Moncton and one of the country’s largest travel hubs.

To mark the occasion, YQM hosted a gate celebration for passengers taking off on the inaugural flight.

“Today marks an exciting milestone for YQM and for our region,” said Courtney Burns, President and CEO of the Greater Moncton International Airport Authority (GMIAA). “We are proud to officially welcome Flair Airlines to our community and continue expanding the travel options available from YQM. This new service enhances connectivity for both residents and visitors while supporting tourism, economic growth, and greater access to affordable air travel.”

“Launching service to Moncton is an exciting milestone for Flair and an important expansion of our network,” said Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines. “From the Bay of Fundy’s tidal bores and Magnetic Hill to unforgettable coastlines, hospitality, and moments with the people who matter most, the Maritimes creates memories that stay with you for a lifetime. We’re thrilled to connect more Canadians to one of the most remarkable parts of the country.”
